Before setting up Homeward Studio, Nicky worked as a specialist paint finisher and gilder in London, working in private residential properties. She still produces one off pieces of decorative hand painted furniture for her shop in Leek and for private clients. We also produce the ‘Ette Range’ a small batch collection of mid-century inspired handmade furniture, including footstools, side tables and benches designed and made in Leek using Staffordshire oak in collaboration with local cabinet maker Jacob Littlejones.
