Louise’ idea of being an artist is broad and open. She is curious about nature and biodiversity, patterns and their history, artists and designers around the world, as well as materials and how to use them.
Contrast, colour, and light are important to Louise. She often paints outside and is interested mostly in landscape, the natural world, plants and flowers … for now!
With a design background, Louise likes to be open to changing and developing ideas, to things not working. She enjoys making work with no obvious destination.
Louise runs classes and workshops in drawing, painting and experimental printmaking.
